Metallic Magic — Callie Thorpe

Metallics are a huge trend both on and off the catwalk this year and I am so here for it. What a way to jazz up an otherwise boring outfit than with a killer metallic piece, personally I think the luxe vibe that Metallic items give, can really help lift an outfit. This look featured in the November issue of my columnMarie Claire and is still a firm favorite out of the other looks I shot. I felt so bad-ass in this silver trench coat, like I could just take on the world in it ya-know? Interesting pieces like this deserve a place in every girls wardrobe because they are instant conversation starters, trench coats are also such classic pieces that it is nice to see them jazzed up a little. To be honest Elvi slays it with there collections and I am always so impressed by their willingness to provide interesting, high fashion style pieces for plus size women, because lets be honest that is a real rarity these days.
